Construction Worker Week
We have had so much fun exploring new community helpers over the past two weeks! Last week we learned all about Police officers and how they help our community and this week we have learned all about Construction workers and how they help our community! During our police officer week we had a visit from Officer St. John with the Cary Police Department. He talked with us about his role in protecting and helping our community. We have explored different ways to build and have used many different items around the classroom to explore how a construction worker may build. We used Popsicle sticks, glue, and construction paper to build houses or buildings in the art center. Many of our friends created a house for their families! This week we also worked on recognizing and identifying rhyming words! We also used shapes to build different types of structures! We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Spring Break!! We will see everyone again on April 8th!
